Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms Mr Halil Duković and member of the Committee Ms Branka Tanasijević met a delegation of the Committee of Experts of the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages.

The  delegation of the Committee of Experts of the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages is paying a three-day visit to Montenegro to monitor compliance with the provisions of the Charter, as part of the evaluation process of the Fifth Report on Implementation of the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages, submitted to the Council of Europe Secretariat in May 2019.

The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with today's meeting and the information that experts would use in the process of evaluating the implementation of the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages by Montenegro.
