The SIGMA delegation, which is staying in Montenegro from 10 to 13 April 2017, is conducting an assessment of functioning of public administration. The subject of his interests are areas relating to: strategic framework of public administration reform, accountability, providing of services, and human resources management.
At the meeting they will discuss the oversight role of the Parliament over the executive authority bodies and cooperation between the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms and the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro.
In addition to the meeting with the Chairperson of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms, the SIGMA expert will also have a meeting on the topic of accountability with representatives of the institution of the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro, Ministry of Public Administration, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Education, Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information, Supreme Court, Administrative Court, and Judicial Council.
It was planned that the meeting with the SIGMA representative be also attended by a member of the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration Mr Miloš Nikolić.
The meeting will be held in the Small Blue Room of the Parliament of Montenegro, starting at 13:30h.
