Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants Mr Andrija Nikolić emphasised the importance of holding regular meetings of the Director of the Diaspora Administration and members of the Committee with the aim of coordinating the activities of the key holders of cooperation with the emigrants. Director of the Administration Mr Mitrović expressed readiness of the Administration to continue, within its field of authorities, the close cooperation with the lead Committee on International Relations and Emigrants for the purpose of overcoming the current challenges and improving the status of emigrants from Montenegro.

They jointly assessed that the Working Group for making the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Cooperation of Montenegro with Diaspora has specifically contributed in the previous period, with an active approach, to the improvement of the existing legal solution.

They have noted that the proposed amendments will serve as a good basis for the forthcoming public debates that will be held in the countries with the largest number of our emigrants.
