At today’s meeting, the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants gave a positive opinion on the proposal that Ms Milica Pejanović-Đurišić be appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary - Permanent Representative, Head of Montenegro’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations, on residential basis in New York.
Members of the Committee unanimously supported Ambassador Pejanović-Đurišić, stressing her rich professional, political and diplomatic experience.
The Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants reminded of the fact that Ms Milica Pejanović-Đurišić has been carrying out the most responsible state duties for three decades, and that the integrity and respect that she enjoyed in the country and abroad, as well as the perfect loyalty to Montenegro's national interests, recommended her for the most demanding diplomatic obligations.
