Montenegro has appreciated the strong role of Austria within the framework of the Berlin Process, which specifies the continuing political and expert support to the European integration of our country, Mr Andrija Nikolić said, Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants, at a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Montenegro, H.E. Ms Ana Janković.

Chairperson of the Committee and the Ambassador discussed the idea of establishing parliamentary dimension of the Berlin Process, with an aim of regional integration and acceleration of the process of integration of the Western Balkans into the EU.

Mr Nikolić and Ms Janković assessed that improving communication between parliaments, in particular the foreign affairs committees, created for an additional condition and stimulus for the overall progress of the interstate relations between Montenegro and Austria and better mutual understanding.
