Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants holds a meeting with Member of the UK Parliament’s House of Commons

The Parliament of Montenegro and the UK’s House of Commons will form parliamentary friendship groups of the two states in September, this is announced at the meeting of Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants Mr Andrija Nikolić and Member of the UK Parliament’s House of Commons Mr John Grogan.

MP Grogan, who is one of the initiators of the formation of a friendship group in the United Kingdom Parliament, emphasised that he highly appreciated the success of Montenegro in the foreign policy field and stressed the important role of our state in preserving the stability of the Western Balkan region.

Expressing gratitude for the continued support of the official London during all stages of the recent political developments in Montenegro, Chairperson of the Committee Mr Andrija Nikolić pointed to the need for strengthening direct contacts at the parliamentary level and in that regard stressed the importance of building links between foreign affairs committees of the two parliaments.

Mr Nikolić informed the guest about current political situation and activities of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants.
