Meeting of Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants with newly-appointed Bulgarian Ambassador held

Bulgaria is continuing to support Montenegrin reform efforts and it is important lobbyists for fulfilling Montenegro's most important foreign-policy aim - membership of the European Union, newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Montenegro H.E. Meglena Plougtchieva-Aleksandrova said at the meeting with Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants Mr Andrija Nikolić.
Chairperson of the Committee Mr Andrija Nikolić stressed that bilateral relations of Montenegro and the Republic of Bulgaria were at the highest level at the moment, therefore parliamentary cooperation gives a special mark to intensive and fruitful inter-state relations.
With gratitude for Republic of Bulgaria’s efforts in advocating the EU's enlargement policy in the Western Balkans during the presidency of the Council of the European Union, Mr Nikolić emphasised the importance of continuing frequent communication at all levels of inter-parliamentary cooperation.
Ambassador Plougtchieva-Aleksandrova showed full openness for specific expert help and transfer of Bulgarian experience within European integration process, particularly with regard to EU funds for priority areas.
