Multilateral cooperation, with the observation of universal principles of human rights, is a key model for resolution of international conflict, was a joint assessment from today’s meeting of the Chairperson of the Committee on International Affairs Mr Andrija Nikolić with the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Montenegro H.E. Mr Rabii Alhantouli.
The Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Montenegro informed the Chairperson of the Committee on International Affairs about the current situation in his state, citing key problems they were facing within the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Pointing out the significance of constantly drawing the public’s attention to this important issue, he voiced satisfaction with Montenegro for respecting the principles of the international law and the UN resolution.
The Committee Chairperson Mr Andrija Nikolić pointed out that the entire international community should give support to solving the long lasting conflict between Palestine and Israel, in order to preserve peace and stability in the Middle East, with emphasis that Montenegro was strongly advocating for peaceful and diplomatic solution of this conflict.
They voiced expectation that the parliamentary cooperation of the two states would be intensified after the new convocation of the Palestinian Parliament was formed.
