Committee on International Relations and Emigrants holds its 54th Meeting

At its 54th meeting held today, members of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants have considered and unanimously supported the proposal that Mr Ivan Ivanišević be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Montenegro to the Republic of France, on a residential basis in Paris.

Voicing his positive position on the Government’s proposal to appoint Mr Ivan Ivanišević as the Ambassador, the Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants Mr Andrija Nikolić said that he was a candidate that was leading a new generational wave of career diplomats of our country, facing a very demanding obligation - to raise Montenegro’s visibility in the Republic of France to a greater level, and additionally shed light on the necessity of our country’s membership to the EU.

The Committee will notify the President of Montenegro as soon as possible on their positive opinion on Mr Ivan Ivanišević.
