Committee on International Relations and Emigrants holds its 56th Meeting

Proposal for appointing Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Montenegro to Bosnia and Hercegovina supported

At its 56th meeting held today, members of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants have considered and unanimously supported the proposal that Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić be elected Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Montenegro to Bosnia and Herzegovina, on a residential basis in Sarajevo.

Chairperson and members of the Committee said that candidate Stanišić, as a long-time prominent representative of the legislative power, with the experience of former deputy minister of foreign affairs, and deputy head of the Montenegrin delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, understands very well the regional security context and the role of Bosnia and Herzegovina in it. This is why, according to members of the Committee, Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić is the proper candidate for the Ambassador of Montenegro to Sarajevo.

The Committee will promptly notify the President of Montenegro on their positive opinion on Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić.
