Committee on International Relations and Emigrants holds its 70th Meeting

At its 70th meeting held today, members of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants have considered and unanimously supported the proposal that Mr Ivan Leković be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Montenegro to the Kingdom of Belgium, on a residential basis in Brussels.

Chairperson of the Committee Mr Andrija Nikolić emphasised that Brussels, as one of the most important diplomatic centres of Europe and the world requires enhanced activity and synergy of all the diplomatic representatives acting in Montenegro, and that the appointment of a career and already experienced diplomat Ivan Leković as ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium confirms the continuity of qualitative recruiting in Montenegrin diplomacy and representation of our country.

The Committee will notify the President of Montenegro as soon as possible on their positive opinion on Mr Ivan Leković.
