At its 76th Meeting held today, members of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants have considered and unanimously supported the proposal that Ms Slavica Milačić be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Montenegro - Permanent Representative - Head of Permanent Mission of Montenegro to the United Nations and other international organisations, on a residential basis in Geneva.

Chairperson of the Committee Mr Andrija Nikolić pointed out that Ambassador Milačić, as a diplomat with lengthy experience, significantly contributed to key international achievements of Montenegro, both before and after the renewal of the state’s independence.

The Committee will notify the President of Montenegro as soon as possible on their positive opinion on Ms Slavica Milačić.
