Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants hosts the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China

Traditional and friendly relations between Montenegro and the People's Republic of China have been accompanied by practical measures reflected in the continuous financial assistance to the Montenegrin economy – it was noted at the meeting of the Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants, Mr Andrija Nikolić, with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Montenegro, H.E. Mr Cui Zhiwei.

 

Committee Chairperson, Mr Andrija Nikolić, expressed his satisfaction with the presence of a significant number of Chinese companies in Montenegro, as well as with the fact that the People's Republic of China has been implementing projects of the utmost importance for the strategic development of Montenegro. Mr Nikolić added that projects such as the construction of the Bar-Boljare highway, the reconstruction of the Đurđevića Tara Bridge and many others in the fields of health, education, culture, sports, science and energy were evidence of quality and substantive bilateral relations between Montenegro and the People's Republic of China.

Ambassador Zhiwei reiterated his satisfaction with the relations between the two countries on a political and economic level, highly appreciating the progress of Montenegro so far. The Ambassador announced a stronger promotion of Montenegro's investment and tourism potentials in the People's Republic of China, which would strengthen the presence of Chinese investors and tourists in our country.
