Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants meets with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Chairperson of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants, Mr Andrija Nikolić, wished success in the work of the newly appointed Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Montenegro, Ms Alison Kemp, and thanked for the continued support of the official London, at all stages of the recent political history of Montenegro.

Mr Nikolić recalled that the United Kingdom has been not only a partner in a better understanding of integration processes, but also a strong political backbone in the overall emancipation of Western Balkan societies.

Although in the process of leaving the European Union, the United Kingdom, according to Ambassador Kemp, will continue to be a strong partner to the Union, but also to the countries of the region on the European path. Supporting this fact, the organisation of the Summit of the Western Balkans countries in London in 2018 has also been announced, strengthening political support for the European future of this region.

Chairperson of the Committee presented his views of the current political situation, in the context of the opposition boycott of the Parliament and informed the Ambassador of the work and activities of the Committee on International Relations and Emigrants.
