The Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget today ended its 29th meeting where it decided to propose to the Parliament to adopt the Proposal for the Law on the 2016 Final Budget Statement of Montenegro.

 The Committee also supported the findings and recommendations of the State Audit Institution (SAI) stemming from the Audit Report on the Proposal for the Law on the 2016 Final Budget Statement of Montenegro, as well as those relating to the individual audits contained in the Annual Report on Performed Audits and Activities of the State Audit Institution for the period October 2016 - October 2017.

 In that respect, the Committee decided to the propose to the Parliament to adopt the conclusion regarding the adoption of the Proposal for the Law on the 2016 Final Budget Statement of Montenegro, in order to further improve the public spending system.

Furthermore, during the consideration of the individual reports contained in the Annual Report on Performed Audits and Activities of the State Audit Institution, the Committee supported the SAI recommendations given in the Audit Report on the Proposal for the Law on the 2016 Final Budget Statement of Montenegro, and, for the purpose of continuous monitoring their implementation, it agreed on the conclusion.
