At today's 73rd Meeting, the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration has considered the 2018 Annual Report on performance of the Judicial Council and general state of the judiciary, submitted to the Parliament of Montenegro by the Judicial Council.

Representatives of the Judicial Council: Mr Mladen Vukčević, President of the Judicial Council, Ms Ana Perović-Vojinović, member of the Council and Ms Vesna Aćimić, Secretary of the Judicial Council Secretariat, presented their views regarding the analysis of the state in judiciary field and data for every court, including problems and shortcomings in their work. Also, they referred to the measures necessary for eliminating the perceived shortcomings.

Following the comprehensive discussion, and in relation with the said report, the Committee will submit to the Parliament of Montenegro a proposal for conclusions for adoption.
