On 14 February 2018, the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports held its Twelfth Meeting, where it considered the Proposal for the Law on Supplement to the Law on Youth, submitted by the following MPs: Mr Bogdan Fatić, Mr Luigj Shkrela, Mr Petar Ivanović, Mr Genci Nimanbegu, Mr Andrija Popović, Mr Mićo Orlandić, Mr Ervin Ibrahimović, Mr Nikola Rakočević, Ms Aleksandra Vuković, Mr Mihailo Anđušić, Mr Miloš Nikolić, Mr Danijel Živković, and Ms Marta Šćepanović.
Introductory remarks, explanatory statement and reasons to adopt this law were presented by MP Ms Aleksandra Vuković, in her capacity as the authorised representative of the proposer of the law.
The Committee unanimously adopted the Proposal for the Law on Supplement to the Law on Youth.
Under the item of the agenda “current issues”, with regard to the application of the NGO “Snažna mama” (Strong Mum), NGO Open Centre “Bona Fide” and SOS Hotline for Women and Children Victims of Violence, the Committee decided to hold a consultative hearing at the joint meeting with the Committee on Health, Labour and Welfare and the Gender Equality Committee.
