Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports held its 21st meeting today, and considered the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Higher Education.
Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Higher Education has been submitted by the group of following MPs: Mr Andrija Popović, Ms Branka Tanasijević, Ms Aleksandra Vuković, Mr Ervin Ibrahimović, Mr Bogdan Fatić, Mr Radule Novović and Mr Adrijan Vuksanović on 18 June 2018, with the aim of extending the period of study for students of the University of Montenegro, who had started their studies prior to the implementation of the Bologna Declaration. The deadline for completion of studies for students of the old system, according to this law proposal, is the end of the academic year 2018-2019.
The Committee unanimously decided to endorse this proposal for the law and proposed its adoption to the Parliament of Montenegro.
