The meeting was organised with a view to providing a more precise introduction and agreement on the time, organisation and details of the announced visit to the Montenegrin Parliament by the Delegation of the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Health of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China, headed by Mr Li Xueyong, Chairperson of the said Committee. It was planned to have the visit from 10 November to 13 November 2018, with a view to further improving the cooperation between the parliaments of the PRC and Montenegro and the above-mentioned working bodies, particularly in the field of education.

The Chairperson of the Committee informed his interlocutors about the competences and the functioning of the Montenegrin parliamentary Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports and voiced his pleasure regarding the announced visit and cooperation.
