Parliament of Montenegro, 12 November 2018 - Meeting of delegations of the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Parliament of Montenegro and the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Health of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China

From 10 to 13 November 2018, the delegation of the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Health of the National People's Congress (NPC) of the People's Republic of China headed by Mr Li Xueyong will visit the Parliament of Montenegro and the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports in a study visit, upon the invitation of its Chairperson Mr Radule Novović.

The visit aims to improve cooperation between the parliaments of the People’s Republic of China and Montenegro as well as the said working bodies, especially in the field of education.

On Monday,12 November 2018, the Chairperson and members of the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Parliament of Montenegro will have a meeting with the delegation of the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Health of the National People's Congress (NPC) of the People's Republic of China. The meeting will be held in the Red Room of the Parliament of Montenegro, starting at 11h.

On Monday, 12 November 2018, the delegation of the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Health of the National People's Congress (NPC) of the People's Republic of China will meet with President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović and members of the Montenegro-China parliamentary Friendship Group.

The meeting will be held  in the White Room of the Parliament of Montenegro, starting at 11h.

The meeting of the Montenegro-China parliamentary Friendship Group with the delegation of the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Health of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China will be held in the White Room, starting at 13h.

On Saturday, 10 November 2018, within the study visit, the delegation of the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Health of the National People's Congress (NPC) of the People's Republic of China will visit the University Donja Gorica, while on Sunday, 11 November 2018, they will visit the Maritime Museum in Kotor, as well as cultural heritage of Kotor and Budva. Furthermore, the visit to “Slobodan Škerović” Grammar School in Podgorica is scheduled for Monday, 12 November 2018.

A meeting with Minister of Culture Mr Aleksandar Bogdanović and a tour of cultural heritage of Cetinje, as well as a meeting with Minister of Education Mr Damir Šehović, are scheduled for Tuesday, 13 November 2018.

Within the official Programme of the visit, the said meetings will be attended by H.E. Mr Liu Jin, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Montenegro, and Mr Yan Jiaqi, attaché at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China.
