Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports holds its 27th Meeting

The Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Higher Education, submitted by a group of MPs, considered and unanimously supported 

At its 22nd Meeting held today, the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports considered the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Higher Education, submitted to the Parliament of Montenegro by MPs: Mr Radule Novović, Ms Jovanka Laličić, Mr Boris Mugoša, Mr Ervin Ibrahimović, Mr Andrija Popović, Mr Adrijan Vuksanović and Ms Marta Šćepanović.

Ms Jovanka Laličić, MP, delivered introductory remarks and explanatory statement on the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Higher Education, in her capacity of the authorised representative of the proposer for the act.

The Committee unanimously decided to submit an amendment to this draft law. The representative of the proposer for the law agreed on this amendment, therefore it has become an integral part of the draft Law, in accordance with Article 150, paragraph 3 of the parliamentary Rules of Procedure.

The Committee unanimously decided to support the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Higher Education, and proposed to the Parliament of Montenegro to adopt it.

Within the second item of the agenda, the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports unanimously adopted the Conclusion (six) from the 23rd Committee meeting, devoted to the topic:  “Protection of Children Online” held on 15 November 2018.
