At today's meeting, the Concluding Observations and recommendations of the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW Committee) were presented, on the occasion of supporting the Second Periodic Report on the Implementation of the CEDAW Convention.

Following the submission of the Report to the CEDAW Committee in 2015 and the answers to additional questions, the Report was considered at the 67th Session of the CEDAW Committee, held in Geneva on 11 July 2017.

Final observations and recommendations were presented to the members of the Committee by the Head of the Department for Gender Equality Affairs in the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, Ms Biljana Pejović.

Within the item of current issues, the upcoming activities and activities realised in between the meetings were discussed.
