At its Twelfth Meeting held today, the Gender Equality Committee has adopted the Programme of the Eight Session of the Women’s Parliament, which is to be held on 7 March 2018, ahead of International Women’s Day, with a goal of promoting women’s human rights in Montenegro. On that occasion, representatives of the Government of Montenegro will answer the questions of participants on the Women's Parliament - representatives of women’s associations of parliamentary parties as well as representatives of civil society.
Under the item of the agenda “current issues”, it was agreed that a consultative hearing be held at the joint meeting with the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration and the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare, as well as another consultative hearing at the joint meeting with the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports and the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare.
