At today’s Nineteenth Meeting, the Committee has considered the Action Plan for implementing the Strategy for Social Inclusion of Roma and Egyptians in Montenegro 2016-2020 along with the Report on implementation of the Action Plan for implementing the Strategy for Social Inclusion of Roma and Egyptians in Montenegro 2016-2020 for 2017.  

Director General of Directorate for Promotion and Protection of Rights of Minorities and Other National Minority Communities Mr Leon Gjokaj presented the Action Plan for implementing the Strategy for Social Inclusion of Roma and Egyptians in Montenegro 2016-2020 along with the Report on implementation of the Action Plan for implementing the Strategy for Social Inclusion of Roma and Egyptians in Montenegro 2016-2020 for 2017 to the Committee members.

Within the item current issues, the activities between meetings were discussed.

The meeting was attended by: Head of Department for Gender Equality Affairs at the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights Ms Biljana Pejović, Advisor to the Directorate for Promotion and Protection of Rights of Minorities and Other National Minority Communities at the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights Sokol Beganaj, Executive Coordinator of Center for Roma Initiatives Nikšić Fana Delija, and President of the women RAE network “Prva” Ms Behija Ramović.
