Within the visit, they held meetings with representatives in charge of gender issues in the OSCE Mission and the Parliament of Austria, as well as in the Federal Ministry of Finance and the Municipality of Vienna. The delegation exchanged experiences and best practice on gender budgeting, promotion of principles and standards of gender equality. Austria is one of the rare countries in the world which prescribed gender responsible budgeting in its Constitution and introduced it in its legislative framework and procedures, therefore this work visit was an opportunity to obtain information and establish relations among institutions for future cooperation. 

This visit was implemented within the continuous support programme by the OSCE Mission to the Parliament of Montenegro.
