At its 26th meeting held today, the Gender Equality Committee has considered the Proposal for the Law on Youth, in the part falling within its competencies.

Following the discussion, the Committee unanimously supported the Proposal for the Law, and proposed to the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports, as the lead Committee, to propose to the Parliament to adopt this Proposal for the Law on Youth.

Under the item of the agenda “Current issues”, the Committee was informed on the upcoming activities, as well as on activities carried out between the meetings.

The meeting was attended by Mr Nikola Janović, Minister of Sports and Youth and Nenad Koprivica, Director General of the Youth Directorate at the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
