Gender Equality Committee holds its 29th Meeting

The Committee considers the Law on Same-sex Life Partnership

At its 29th Meeting held today, the Gender Equality Committee has considered the Proposal for the Law on Same-sex Life Partnership, in the part falling within its purview.

Following the discussion, the Committee unanimously supported the Proposal for the Law, and proposed to the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms (as the lead Committee), to propose to the Parliament to adopt the Proposal for the Law on Same-sex Life Partnership.

Under the item of the agenda Current issues, the Committee was informed about the upcoming activities.

The meeting was attended by: Ms Blanka Radošević-Marović, Director General of the Directorate for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms at the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights,  Mr Jovan Ulićević, Executive Director of the Association “Spectra“, Ms Ana Dedivanović, representative of the Activist Group of LBTQ Women “KvirA“, Mr Danijel Kalezić, Chairman of the Administrative Board of  Queer Montenegro, and Ms Marica Vlahović, Queer Montenegro.
