Gender Equality Committee and the OSCE Mission to Montenegro organised a two-day thematic workshop on Capacity building for an inclusive and efficient Parliament of Montenegro: gender perspective in legislation, with the aim of implementing one of the measures from the Action Plan for the Gender Sensitive Parliament of Montenegro, which envisages capacity building and development of procedures for the implementation of assessments in all stages of making and adopting laws, policies, and other acts.
The workshop was held on 20 and 21 June in Podgorica Hotel.
The work of the two-day workshop led by expert Karolina Leaković took place within the panel “Introduction and institutionalization of gender perspective in legislation", "Implementation of gender-sensitive legislation: step by step" and "Case study: Balance between business and private life of parents and guardian” (Directive of the European Parliament of 4 April 2019).
