Chairperson of the Gender Equality Committee with NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for Women, Peace and Security

Chairperson of the Gender Equality Committee Ms Nada Drobnjak today held a meeting with Ms Clare Hutchinson, NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for Women, Peace and Security.             

The meeting discussed regional cooperation in the field of gender equality, with special emphasis on the application of the National Action Plan for the Implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 – Women, Peace and Security, as well as the fighting against human trafficking with special emphasis on women and children. They concluded that Montenegro was a good example to others in terms of the results achieved, while further cooperation was also agreed.

The meeting was attended by Mr Marco Sparano, associate at the Office of ATO Secretary General's Special Representative for Women, Peace and Security, and Ms Danica Mijatović, senior secretary at the Director General for NATO and Security Policy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro.
