At its meeting held today, the Gender Equality Committee considered the Labour Law from the scope of its jurisdiction.

Following the discussion, the Committee supported the Proposal for the Law, and proposed to the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare (as the lead Committee), to propose to the Parliament to adopt the Proposal for the Labour Law.

The Committee Meeting was attended by: Mr Zoran Ratković, Director General of the Directorate for Labour at the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare and Ms Marina Vučićević, Head of the Directorate for Labour Relations at the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare.
