At its 42nd meeting held today, the Gender Equality Committee considered the Proposal for the Law on Election of MPs and Councillors and the Proposal for the Law on Financing of Political Entities and Election Campaigns, in the part within its purview, and, after the discussion, unanimously decided to support the proposals of the said laws and submit its opinions to the lead committees - the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration and the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the proposer Mr Miloš Nikolić and Mr Mihailo Anđušić.
