In accordance with Article 67 paragraph 2 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament, the meeting was attended by the representatives of the Landscape Architecture Association who offered solutions for improvement of the Proposal for the Law in part relating to the landscape protection. They believe that solutions from the proposed law exclude landscape architects from important processes relating to the strategic planning and urbanism and public space design through drafting of project documents. It was especially emphasised that, after the last year’s amendments to the Nature Protection Law and lack of obligation of making a landscape map, the adoption of this Law will make Montenegro unable to implement the European Landscape Convention.
The Chairperson of the Committee informed the Committee on the Proposal for Amendments to the Proposal for the Law submitted by the Union of Municipalities of Montenegro.
During the discussion, they noted the need for specifying certain norms of the Proposal for the Law, and the Committee informed the representatives of the proposer on his proposal. Voting on the Proposal for the Law was postponed until the continuation of the Tenth Meeting of the Committee.
Under the item of the agenda “current issues”, the Committee learned about the “Final Report on the Audit of the Financial Statements of the Public Enterprise Regional Water Supply Company for Montenegrin Coast - Budva for 2016”.
