At its Meeting held today, the Committee on Tourism, Agriculture, Ecology and Spatial Planning considered and supported the Proposal for the 2018 Budget Law of Montenegro, in part relating to the following consumer units: Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

During the discussion they talked about the budget of a large number of programmes within the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism.

The Committee assessed that the Proposal for the 2018 Budget Law of Montenegro was acceptable in part relating to the consumer units the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism.

Under the item of the agenda “Current issues”, the Committee took up a position that a consultative hearing should be held regarding the regulation of flow of the river Bojana. Furthermore, it noted that a consultative hearing should be held regarding the Final Report of the SAI on the audit of the financial statements of the Public Enterprise “Regional Water Supply Company for Montenegrin Coast” Budva for 2016.

The Committee also appointed the representatives to participate in the meeting with the non-governmental organisation “Association for Encouraging Coexistence Korina”.
