At today’s 43rd Meeting, the Committee on Tourism, Agriculture, Ecology and Spatial Planning has established the 2019 Work Plan. The Plan includes: legislative activity, thematic activities, consideration of the implementation of the parliamentary conclusions, consultative and control hearings and international activities. In 2019, the Committee will pay a special attention to negotiation chapters within its jurisdiction, namely 11 - Agriculture and rural development, 12 - Food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary policy, 13 - Fisheries and 27 - Environment and climate change, and other chapters containing acquis closely linked with the areas covered by the Committee.
