Committee on Tourism, Agriculture, Ecology and Spatial Planning holds its 48th Meeting

The Committee considered one proposal for laws

At today’s 48th Meeting, the Committee on Tourism, Agriculture, Ecology and Spatial Planning has considered the Proposal for the Law on Foreign and Invasive Foreign Species of Plants, Animals and Fungi. The Proposal for the Law prescribes the creation of an appropriate legislative framework for managing, preventing import and spreading foreign and invasive foreign species, which can harm natural eco-system in Montenegro.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development with the aim of harmonising provisions of the Law on Freshwater Fisheries and Aquaculture and Law on Freshwater Fisheries and Aquaculture.

The discussion pointed put to the need of specifying certain provisions of the Proposal for the Law.

The Committee decided to vote on the Proposal for the Law subsequently.
