Committee on Tourism, Agriculture, Ecology and Spatial Planning begins its Ninth Meeting

At today’s meeting, the Committee on Tourism, Agriculture, Ecology and Spatial Planning has considered and voted in favour of the Proposal for the Law on Chemicals. The Law was proposed with the view of comprehensive regulation in the field of safe chemical management, particularly in the area of inspection control. The Proposal for the Law elaborates the obligation of all further users of chemicals, as well as obligations of producers.

The Committee has considered the Proposal for the Law on the market of agricultural products. During the discussion, the participants pointed out to a number of shortcomings of this Proposal for the Law that need to be corrected. For that reason, the vote on this Proposal for the Law has been postponed for the continuation of the 9th meeting of the Committee.

In line with Article 67 paragraph 1 of the Rules of Procedure, the Committee did not consider Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Construction Products.
