At the meeting that was held today, the Committee considered the Proposal for the 2018 Budget Law of Montenegro, in accordance with Article 137 paragraph 2 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, in part relating to the consumer units from the field of health, labor and social welfare.
The representatives of the consumer units from the field of health, labor and social welfare were present at the meeting beside the members of the Committee.
The explanatory statement on the Proposal for the 2018 Budget Law of Montenegro was provided by Mr Nikola Vukićević, Director General of the Directorate for Budget from the Ministry of Finance, with a special view on the projected funds for 2018, in areas under the competence of the Committee on Health, Labor and Social Welfare.
The representatives of the consumer units elaborated in detail the key programmes and projects, for whose implementation certain funds were planned.
The Committee voted in favour of the Proposal for the 2018 Budget Law of Montenegro, in part relating to the consumer units within its purview.
In the framework of the item of Current issues, members of the Committee were informed about the activities of the Chairperson of the Committee, as well as about the the visit of the Chairperson and members of the Committee to the Small Group Home in Bijelo Polje.
