Satisfaction with cooperation between the UNICEF Office to Montenegro and Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare was expressed at the meeting, with the expectation that it would be additionally improved. They emphasised that it was important, in the future, to focus on improving the position of children marginalized in Montenegro - children of the Roma population and children without parental care. The interlocutors also addressed the current problem of vaccination of children.
Chairperson of the Committee Mr Suad Numanović stressed that it was important to continue inter-sectoral cooperation, because without such an approach to work, good results cannot be expected. They have concluded that the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare, within its area of authority, is open to any type of cooperation when it comes to improving the position and protection of children's rights in Montenegro.
