Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare holds its 22nd Meeting

Three items of the agenda considered

At today’s 22nd Meeting, the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare considered two amendments submitted to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Health Insurance, submitted by MP Mr Mićo Orlandić.

Representative of the Proposer of the Law has accepted amendment I by Mr Orlandić which, in line with Article 150 paragraph 3 of the parliamentary Rules of Procedure, have become an integral part of the Proposal for the Law and the Parliament would not decide thereof separately.

At the meeting, Mr Orlandić said that he withdrew amendment II from the parliamentary procedure.

The Committee has considered the 2018 Draft Work Plan and adopted it unanimously.

Within the third item of the agenda "Current Issues", the Committee decided to hold a joint meeting with the Committee on Political System, Justice and Administration and the Gender Equality Committee, with regard to two petitions by the Women's Safe House. A consultative hearing is planned for the said meeting.  With regard to petition by NGO “Snažna mama” (Strong Mum), NGO Open Centre “Bona Fide” and SOS Hotline for Women and Children Victims of Violence, the Committee decided to organise a joint meeting with the Committee on Political System, Justice and Administration and the Gender Equality Committee, also with the aim of holding of a consultative hearing.
