At today’s meeting, members of the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare learned about the upcoming conference of the Igman Initiative titled: “Free Movement of Labour Force between the Countries Signatories of the Dayton Agreement, Using the Experiences of the Nordic Model of Cooperation”.
The conference in Podgorica is a continuation of the activities launched by the Igman Initiative in 2011, with the support of the ambassadors of the Nordic countries in Belgrade, whose aim was to promote the Nordic model of cooperation in the region.
Within item current issues, members of the Committee unanimously agreed that a consultative hearing of Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Mr Kemal Purišić should be held, with regard to announced amendments to the Pension and Disability Insurance Law. The date of the hearing will be determined subsequently.
Members of the Committee also learned about upcoming study visits.
