At their Meeting held today, the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare considered the Proposal for the 2017 Budget Law of Montenegro, in accordance with Article 137 paragraph 2 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, in part relating to the consumer units from the field of health, labour, and social welfare.

The representatives of the consumer units elaborated in detail the key programmes and projects, for whose implementation certain funds were planned.

Following the discussion, the Committee voted in favour of the Proposal for the 2017 Budget Law of Montenegro, in part relating to the consumer units within its purview. It was noted that, in accordance with Article 137 paragraph 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, the Committee would submit its opinion to the lead committee - the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget.
