At its Meeting held today, the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare has considered and supported the Proposal for the Law on Medically Assisted Fertilisation.
In line with Article 137, paragraph 2 of the parliamentary Rules of Procedure, the Gender Equality Committee has considered the Proposal for the Law on Medically Assisted Fertilisation, in part of its jurisdiction, and decided - following the discussion - to support this proposal for the Law and propose to the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare, as the lead committee, to propose to the Parliament to adopt this law.
The Committee Meeting was attended by representatives of proposer of the law: Director General of the Directorate for International Cooperation and Harmonisation of Regulation at the Ministry of Health Ms Slađana Pavlović, Head of the Directorate for Harmonisation of Regulations at the Ministry of Health Ms Slavojka Šuković and General Director of the Health Protection Directorate Ms Mevlida Gusinjac.
The Committee learned about the upcoming activities of the Committee, under the item of the agenda “current issues”.
