Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare holds its 48th Meeting

Two items of the agenda considered

At today’s meeting, the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare has considered the Proposal for a decision on establishing a Committee on investigating the consequences of NATO bombing in 1999 on the health of citizens of Montenegro, submitted by MPs:  Mr Aleksandar Damjanović, Ms Anka Vukićević, Mr Goran Danilović, Mr Goran Radonjić and Mr Janko Vučinić.

On behalf of the proposer, Mr Aleksandar Damjanović explained the Proposal for a decision on establishing a Committee on investigating the consequences of NATO bombing in 1999 on the health of citizens of Montenegro.

The Committee meeting was also attended by another proposer Ms Anka Vukićević.

After the discussion, the Committee voted on the proposed decision as follows: one vote “for”, two votes “against” and four “abstained”.

Within “Current issues”, Chairperson of the Committee Mr Suad Numanović informed members of the Committee that he received by the State Audit Institution the Final Audit Report of the Annual Financial Report of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare and Regularity of Operations of the Centres for Social Services in Podgorica, Bar and Berane for 2017 and the Final Audit Report of the Annual Financial Report and the Audit of the Regularity of Operations of the Centres for Social Services in Nikšić and Pljevlja for 2018.

Members of the Committee also received the Information paper on the meeting between Chairperson of the Committee for Health, Labour and Social Welfare Mr Suad Numanović and Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Montenegro Ms Songül Ozan, and candidate for the Regional Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) for Europe Ms Nedret Emiroglu.
