Committee on further reform of electoral and other legislation held its first meeting today.
Within the item of the agenda, the Committee members discussed issues related to the methodology and further activities of the Committee. The readiness was stated for the contribution to further strengthen public confidence in the electoral process, which would be achieved with intensive work in the Committee. The Committee agreed on the text of public invitations for the election of associate members of the Committee, from among the academia and non-governmental sector. It was pointed to the need to constitute the secretariat of the Committee as soon as possible, and undertake further activities so that other entities could contribute to achieving the goals and tasks of the Committee.
