At its meeting held today, the Working Group for the Implementation of the OSCE/ODIHR Recommendations determined the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Financing of Political Entities and Election Campaigns.

Taking into consideration all proposals, comments, and suggestions addressed to the Working Group by the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, the State Audit Institutions, and other stakeholders, in order to fulfil the OSCE/ODIHR recommendations, the Working Group defined the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Financing of Political Entities and Election Campaigns which would be forwarded to the OSCE experts.

Members of the Working Group also considered recommendations to the election campaigns and media, and in that part, with special attention analysed the comparative study “Political advertising and media campaign during the pre-election period”, commissioned by the OSCE Mission to Montenegro, and submitted to the Working Group by the Agency for Electronic Media.

The next meeting of the Working Group will be held on Friday 24 November 2017 at 13:30.
