At today’s 14th meeting, the Working Group for the Implementation of Recommendations from the OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission Final Report has agreed on the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Election of Councillors and MPs. Prior to this, proposals by the members of the Working Group were harmonised, and the manners in which recommendations related to this Law should be implemented were explored, taking into account all received proposals and comments of state bodies and interested public. In the following days, the Working Group will send all proposed draft laws to the OSCE/ODIHR experts, so that they give their opinion on the proposed amendments to the laws aimed at meeting the recommendations by the OSCE/ODIHR Observation Mission.
