Legislative Committee holds its 41st Meeting

The Legislative Committee has considered and voted in favour of: Proposal for the Law on foreign trade of goods and services which could be used for capital punishment, torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment, and Proposal for the Law on Ratification of the Additional Protocol 4 to the Agreement on Amendment of and Accession to the Central European Free Trade Agreement and the Additional Protocol 5 to the Agreement on Amendment of and Accession to the Central European Free Trade Agreement.

The Committee also considered and found the following amendments to the Proposal for the 2018 Budget Law of Montenegro to be legally acceptable:

  • amendments No 1, 6, and 7, submitted by MP Mr Andrija Popović; and
  • an amendment submitted by MP Ms Jovanka Laličić.

MP Mr Andrija Popović notified the Committee that he was withdrawing amendments No 2, 3, 4, and 5.

The Committee found amendment 1 of MP Mr Andrija Popović to the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Executing a Decision of the Constitutional Court of Montenegro U-I No 6/16 of 19 April 2017 (Official Gazette of Montenegro No 31/17) to be legally acceptable, while he withdrew amendment 2.

     In accordance with Article 67 paragraph 1 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, the Committee did not consider the following amendments to the Proposal for the 2018 Budget Law of Montenegro:

  • 1 amendment submitted by MPs Mr Nedžad Drešević and Mr Halil Duković;
  • 1 amendment submitted by MP Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić;
  • 1 amendment submitted by MP Mr Genci Nimanbegu;
  • 1 amendment submitted by MPs: Mr Branimir Gvozdenović, Mr Genci Nimanbegu, Mr Halil Duković, and Mr Luigj Shkrela;
  • 1 amendment submitted by MPs: Mr Branimir Gvozdenović and Mr Predrag Sekulić;
  • 2 amendments submitted by MP Mr Predrag Sekulić;
  • 1 amendment submitted by MP Mr Željko Aprcović; and
  • 1 amendment submitted by MPs: Mr Branimir Gvozdenović, Mr Luigj Shkrela, Mr Adrijan Vuksanović, and Mr Predrag Sekulić;
  • 1 amendment submitted by MPs: Ms Ana Nikolić and Mr Momčilo Martinović.
