At its 27th Meeting held today, the Legislative Committee considered and positively voted on the following: the Proposal for the Law on Services; the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Misdemeanours; the Proposal for the Law on the Prevention of Violence and Misbehavior at Sports Events; the Proposal for the Law on Chemicals; the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Construction Products; the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Excise Law; the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Value Added Tax; the Proposal for the Law on Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of Montenegro and Government of the Republic of Portugal on Double Taxation Avoidance and Prevention of Income Tax Evasion.

The agenda of the meeting was extended by the Initiative for starting the procedure for assessing the constitutionality of provision of Article 78 paragraph 2 in the part that reads “years of service” of the Labour Law (Official Gazette of Montenegro, No 49/08, 59/11, 66/12 and 31/14), and provisions of Article 15 paragraph 1 item 4 of the Law on Public Sector Salaries (Official Gazette of Montenegro, No 16/16, 83/16 and 21/17), which was also considered by the Committee.
