First Sitting of the First Ordinary Session of the Parliament of Montenegro in 2017 held

Five proposals for laws and one proposal for decision adopted

At the First Sitting of the First Ordinary (Spring) Session in 2017 held today in the building of the Local Assembly of the Old Royal Capital of Cetinje, the following was adopted: Proposal for the Law on Ratification of the Agreement on Port State Measures to Prevent, Deter and Eliminate Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing; Proposal for the Law on Ratification of the Agreement on Establishing the Regional Youth Cooperation Office; roposal for the Law on Ratification of the Agreement between the European Atomic Energy Community (EURATOM) and non-member States of the European Union on the participation of the latter in the Community arrangements for the early exchange of information in the event of radiological emergency (ECURIE); Proposal for the Law on Ratification of the ILO Occupational Safety and Health (Dock Work) Convention No. 152 and Proposal for the Law on Ratification of the ILO Seafarers' Identity Documents Convention (Revised) No 185.

Also, MPs adopted the Proposal for a decision on accepting the Joint-stock agreement between the State of Montenegro and the A2A S.p.A..

Within the item of the agenda Elections and Appointments, Mr Branislav Prelević was appointed as President of the Energy Regulatory Agency Board and Mr Zoran Jelić as member of the State Audit Institution Senate. Mr Nikola Fabris was appointed as Vice Governor of the Central Bank for Financial Stability and Payment Systems while Ms Irena Radović was appointed as Vice Governor for Banking System Supervision.
