President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ivan Brajović will open the Twelfth Session of the "Women's Parliament" on Monday, 9 March 2020, at 11:00 am, The Session organised by the Gender Equality Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro will be held in the Plenary Hall.

The forthcoming session will discuss the implementation of the Law on Gender Equality and the changes taking place in the field of gender equality. The Statistical Office of Montenegro (MONSTAT) will present Gender Equality Index, calculated for the first time for Montenegro upon the initiative of the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, based on the methodology of the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE). The work of the Gender Equality Committee within the Human Rights and Gender Equality Network of Committees in the Western Balkan (HUGEN) will be also presented.
